Serial number 1093 929This version 3, single stroke, M3 (from early 1964) is in superb condition. Equally appropriate to the collector and the user. It enjoys a well deserved reputation as one of the most desired and desirable cameras ever built. It features the dual dot rewind, the hollow film counter triangle and newer shutter speed sequence appropriate to this model. The shutter speeds are all within original factory specifications (as measured with a Kyoritsu EF-500b digital shutter analyzer). The rangefinder is bright and clear and perfectly aligned. The self-timer is silky smooth as is the film advance. There are light strap "rubs" on each end. There is a small piece of Vulcanite missing next to the bottom plate on each end. There are no dents or scratches but there are numerous small nicks around the edges of the top plate. There are a few very light "rubs" on the top plate and two darker ones on the front near the small rangefinder window.
