Sonny Bono's Leica IIIf (1954)
Serial number 695 788This Leica IIIf is in superb condition. It is the later and rarer (red dial) version from 1954 with the self timer. There is a small piece of vulcanite missing next to the slow shutter dial and the lens barrel shows substantial wear but the camera is otherwise nearly perfect. There are no nicks, dents, scratches, brassing or rubs on any of the metalwork. It is from the collection of the late Congressman, entertainer and highly skilled camera collector Sonny Bono and has documents of provenance to that effect.
